1HZ 4.2L inline 6 cylinder diesel motor mated to 5 speed manual transmission. Manual locking wheels hubs with 4WD and two speed transfer case. Solid axles in front and rear. The engine bay is clean.
The 24 volt engine is responsive and powerful. The clutch is stiff but all gears shift smoothly.
The brakes function properly and were serviced in 2017 with new front pads and rear shoes. The vehicle handles well and the suspension is in good condition. The factory matting for the hood is missing and the washer fluid cap is missing. The shifter bushings may be worn. Clean and mostly original, in okay condition. The HZJ73 interior color is light grey with Land Cruiser embroidered grey vinyl seats. Seats for five with fold down rear bench seats, Pioneer CD radio, and tilting steering wheel.

The dash is complete with all the buttons and controls working properly and shows minor wear and one small crack. The headliner is intact and clean. The door cards were replaced with a newer model Land Cruiser ones. Replaced carpet with a cleaner second hand one in grey. The clutch pedal is missing the rubber cover.
The shifter knob is also worn and the 4WD shifter knob was replaced with one from a different model. The underbody of the HZJ73 was also treated for minor oxidation and painted black in 2018. The chassis is clean and does not shows signs of damage or abuse.
The FRP fiberglass removable rooftop was repainted in white in 2018 and does not show any damage. The front doors are in okay condition and the rear doors in good condition. The roll bars are clean and repainted. Chrome running boards for entry access.
Wipers and water sprayer function properly. Tires in okay condition with less than 50% use. Overall well kept.
