Cat Generator Emcp 2 Modbus Guide
Hello, I have a new generator speced above, and need to make the MODBUS RTU connection, but cant find where to land the cable. I have the IOM, it has a terminal strip diagram with terminals, but doesnt give the location of the strip. I looked in the right side panel, where it seems all the terminal strips are, but didnt see exactly what I expected. I did find a connection labeled 'modbus', except it already has wires landed on both sides of the terminal strip.and the wires seems to be connected to internal devices as far as I can tell. Heres hoping someone can help. Thanks in advance.
Caterpillar EMCP3 MODBUS communication. Please guide me to where I can find the MODBUS addresses for the alarms. Or do they have to be programmed in the EMCP.
